Object of research: patients infected by different pathogens from TORCH group infections and role of these infections at reproductive losses. Purpose: to study a role of some pathogens from TORCH group (chlamydia, mycoplasma, toxoplasma, herpes simplex viruses, rubella, cytomegalovirus, parvovirus В19) and their associations at reproductive losses and to develop the optimal scheme of laboratory diagnostics of this pathology. Methods of research: serological, molecular-genetic and statistical. Theoretical and practical results, novelty: research of seropositivity against parvovirus В19 at women with a pathology of pregnancy and reproductive losses was done for the first time in Ukraine. It is determined that this infection plays a significant role both in pathology of pregnancy, and in formation of reproductive losses. Criteria of selection of "mother-fetus" pair are formulated and recommended for complex laboratory examination at TORCH group infections in view of anamnestic, clinical and laboratory data of examination. The scheme of complex laboratory examination of "mother-fetus" pair by various methods is offered at reproductive losses caused by TORCH group infections. It is recommended to use postmortem material in the form of pools from liver, kidneys, spleen, trachea, lungs, brain and placenta of a fetus for diagnostics of TORCH group infections. It was given the recommendations concerning terms and conditions of storage of postmortem material for various methods of laboratory diagnostics. Recommendations were introduced in educational process of medical universities. Area of usage: medicine, microbiology.
