This research focuses on cognitive and pragmatic peculiarities of discourse representation of the final phase in conflict interaction. The paper reveals structural and pragmatic features of singling out the final phase, and highlights the types of its location within the conflict interaction context. Cognitive peculiarities of discourse representation of the final phase in conflict interaction have been analysed from the viewpoint of Structural Balance Theory. As a result of this research, the basic concepts of the final phase have been distinguished and conceptual model of the final phase has been built. The paper describes the pragmatic types of completing the conflict interaction, and defines the main strategies and tactics of the speaker’s behavior. Functional peculiarities of verbal and non-verbal means of communication have been studied in detail. The role of gender factor in the final conflict interaction phase has been considered.
