Research object - processes of a technical condition and working capacity change of branch circuit isolation during its operation. Research target - diagnostic attributes and methods of working capacity definition of branch circuit isolation concerning the ground at an early stage of damage development during operation. The purpose - increase of a level of reliability, safety and efficiency of operation of distributive networks by a voltage 6-10 kV through improvement of the diagnostic maintenance intended for definition of a technical condition of branch circuit isolation under operating conditions. Theoretical and practical results: for the first time the method of branch circuit isolation working capacity definition is offered, which consists in restriction of a current through shunting connection by criterion of an electrosafety and active power losses in isolation by economic criterion of a minimum of the electric power losses; methods of the continuous and periodic isolation control are developed, which consider asymmetry of active resistance and capacitances of a network phases concerning the ground; practical significance of work consists in development of a diagnostic complex of a branch circuit isolation working capacity control which consists of the device of continuous and periodic isolation control and the software for processing results of the control and definition of isolation working capacity. Level of application - in the field limits. Sphere of application - distributive networks by a voltage 6-10 kV of the electrosupplying companies.
