The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the foundation and development of Constitutional Law of the USA in the opinions of the Supreme Court. In the research the author concentrates on the analysis of the peculiarities of the American legal system and the formation of constitutional law in the USA. Much attention is paid to the foundation and development of the powers of the highest state bodies, аmerican system of federalism, rights and freedoms of citizens in the opinions of the Supreme Court. The sources of Constitutional Law have been studied, and it has been proved, that its formation is carried out due to the judicial interpretation of the legislation.
