Essay

In this dissertation are presented the main periods of the history of collecting and learning of the song folklore of Lemkos and figured out the contribution of some scientists, researchers and collectors of ethnic culture. Have been found the typical features of Lemkos' song culture and have been traced the evolution of ritual and nonritual song genre. Have been made analysis of the pecularities of Lemkos' genre of song folklore in professional and authentic music of the XX th century. Were examined the modern forms of folk song existance and the interaction of song traditional and newtraditional creation in modern ethnic Lemkos' culture in Ukraine.
