Essay

The concept of SPACE and the processes of its verbalization through English phraseologisms. The aim is to define the lingual-cognitive parameters of spatial conceptualization thrpugh means of English phraseology. Methods used - phraseological identification, component analysis, frame modelling. It has been first brought forward the integrative definition of space describing the principles for its conceptualization. The thesis suggests an integrative interdisciplinary apporoach to focus on the category of space. Application - delivering courses in English lesicology, specialized courses. The sphere of usage - higher school.
