Dissertational paper is devoted to questions of treatment efficiency rise of children sick with inhospital pneumonia, by way of profound studying of pathogenetic role of trace substances, cytokines, cellular and humoral mechanisms in interrelation with clinical current of disease, and also parameters of microelement structure, a cellular and humoral part of immunity and a phagocytosis. Authentic depression of levels of blood serum trace substances during pneumonia initial displays and slow normalization in the reconvalescence period are revealed. It is offered to define levels of trace substances and cytokines in blood serum during the acute period of disease in children with inhospital pneumonias, as a marker of inflammatory process. Zincum preparation incorporation in complex treatment of pneumonias is offered that will promote normalization of immunologic parameters and microelement disbalance of blood serum.
