The research object - is an hormon-metabolic homeostasis for patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 and patients with schizophrenia. The purpose is to define features of the hormon-metabolic homeostasis for patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 with symptomatic mental disorders and for patients with schizophrenia taking into account features of the spent psychotropic therapy and to develop the differentiated approaches to their preventive maintenance and treatment. Methods: clinical, biochemical, immunoenzymatic, statistical. Interrelations between the state of carbohydrate and lipoide metabolism for patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 with symptomatic mental disorders and for patients with schizophrenia are researched. Absence of negative influence of short-term use of psychotropic drugs on a state of carbohydrate and lipoid metabolism for patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 and symptomatic mental disorders is proved. The main principles of those patients, treatment were worked out: glucose-decreasing and psychotropic therapy. The negative influence of insulin-coma therapy on the insulin secretion was proved. allows to consider insulin-coma therapy as an additional risk factor for diabetes mellitus in the patients with schizophrenia. The differential recommendations for the propylaxis of carbohydrate metabolism disorders in the patients with schigophrenia were worked aut.
