Essay

Object: Purpose of research: to study of the functional state of pituitary-gonadal system in women, operated for a differentiated thyroid canser. Methods of research and the equipment: clinical, tool, radioimmunologycal, cytologycal, statistical; the ultrasonic scanner "Toshiba-240 ", microscop "MВI-3". Theoretical and practical results: study of secretion of gonadotropins and sex hormones in women, operated for a differentiated thyroid canser, point out a disturbance of blood contents and secretion rhythm of gonadotropins and sex hormones, disturbance of development of a dominant follicle, luteal body and anovulation. Ultrasound changes of ovaries and utherus in interrelation with blood concentration of gonadotropins and sex hormones has been established in obvious hypothyroidism after thyroidectomy and in the presence of suppressive therapy by thyroid hormones. Novelty: for the first time in fertile women with thyroid cancer the influence of thyroidectomy and radioiodine on the functional state of pituitary-gonadal system was proved, therapeutic complex was exploited, positive influens of rh-TSH for improvement of the hormones haracteristics of menstrual cycle was appeared . Degree of introduction: the results of these investigations were introduced into medical practice for diagnostics and treatment thyroid cancer. Area of using: endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology.
