Object – is pathogeneses aspects of indirect hyper-bilirubinaemia in newborns, vaccinated and non-vaccinated against viral hepatitis B; methods – clinical, biochemical, immunological, statistical, morphological; novelty – the re-search reveals the difference in the manifestation of the gen-eral reactive potential according to the loading-erythrocytic coefficient, cellular-phagocytic potential, allergic mode, en-dotoxicosis by the level of «middle» molecules, Т-, B-immunity systems, circulating immunal complexes, the indi-ces of the leucocytic formula, anticontageous defense by the HBs levels in neonates, vaccinated and non-vaccinated against viral hepatitis В. The research proves the expediency of vaccinating neonates and children under one year old against hepatitis B, with the aim of preventing the disease; however, the terms of vaccination should be individualized in particular cases, considering the state of the mother and the newborn; results - of the study allow to extend and deepen the understating of the intimate mechanisms of the general reactive potential failures in the newborns both vaccinated and not vaccinated against viral hepatitis В; branch - medicine.
