The essence of the position as an organizational and legal form of service is elucidated in this work; definitions are determined; characteristics and kinds of custom house of Ukraine officers are distinguished; essence and elements of custom house of Ukraine officers’ legal status are elucidated; problems of service by custom house of Ukraine officers are analyzed; rights and duties of custom house officers are characterized; restrictions, which concern professional activity of custom house officers are analyzed; definitions are formulated and kinds of guarantees as an element of legal status of custom house of Ukraine officers are distinguished; peculiarities of legal amenability of custom house officers are elucidated. Propositions and recommendations of researched problems are presented.
