The object is conjugated biscarbenes of the 1,2,4-triazole series and chelated oxidocarbene complexes of metals, carbene complexes of transition metals. The goal of the work is the synthesis of new types carbenes and carbenoid compounds (conjugated biscarbenes of the 1,2,4-triazole series, chelated oxidocarbene complexes of metals) by deprotonation of the corresponding azolium salts with bases, and also the elaboration of new approaches to the preparation of metal carbene complexes. Methods of the research are synthetic, elemental analysis, thin layer chromatography, IR- NMR- and mass-spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction study. Stable conjugated 3,3'-bridged bis-1,2,4-triazol-5-ylidenes and chelated heteroaromatic carbene complexes of alkali metals have been prepared. It was studied their interaction with electrophilic reagents (sulphur, compounds of transition metals). New approaches to the preparation of metal carbene complexes have been worked out by the reactions of cyanomethyl derivatives of 2H-benzimidazolines and acetoxyazolines with metal salts. The area of application is the preparation of new types of carbenes and metal carbene complexes, reagents and catalysts for organic reactions.
