Essay

The research object: rotational spectra of furfural, glycine and urethane. The purpose of the research: determination of spectroscopic parameters, which can allow us to describe the structure of rotational energy levels with accuracy corresponding to accuracy of modern experimental measurements. The methods of research: the spectra were obtained by means of microwave absorption and Fourier-transform spectroscopy; the spectra obtained were described by means of effective Hamiltonian for an isolate vibrational state method. Theoretical and practical results, novelty: the rotational spectra of furfural, glycine and urethane have been measured with accuracy which is by an order of magnitude higher compared to accuracy of previous measurements. The frequency range of direct laboratory measurements for all the molecules has been significantly increased. Several excited vibrational states of furfural and urethane have been assigned and analyzed for the first time. Carried out modernization have led to development of modern version of two microwave spectrometers. The field of application: microwave radio astronomy, radio physics.
