Essay

Current dissertation deals with the diagnosis and treatment of left ventricle diastolic dysfunction in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with coronary heart disease. The influence of basic and metabolic treatment on diastolic function in such patients has been researched and comparative analysis of different schemes of metabolic treatment has been carried out. It has been proved that metabolic treatment caused reverse develop-ment of left ventricle diastolic dysfunction and its normaliza-tion occurred in 8.3-16.2 per cent cases. It has been substanti-ated that complex metabolic treatment much more signifi-cantly improved left ventricle diastolic function in diabetics with coronary heart disease.
