Essay

Strategic management of an insurance company activity. Scientific proof of theoretical basics and practical technologies, forms and methods of strategic planning including work over main factors and financial results that are involved. Methods: dialectical method of scientific knowing and systematical approach, dependence analysis, interdependence, decomposition, group forming, graphical and table reflection of data, method of practical figures, informal interviews, expert survey, questionnaire and focus-group. Theoretical and practical aspects of the process, key levels and methodology of insurer strategic management, basic definitions, government regulation of insurer strategic management principles as well as practical methods of fulfilling this essential function of management are researched and explained. The main results of the research are recommendations of forming insurance glossary, usage of goals, mission, and vision. Analysis of wants of subjects, interested in insurer strategy realizationand confidentiality problems; decomposition of strategic according to 6 activities with a formation of organizational structure for client-oriented insurance company according to the method of vertical functional subordination implanting the criteria of sales and provision department staff efficiency; the procedure of strategic planning based on SWOT-analysis methods and the system of balanced results; method of current non-financial diagnoses.
