Datsyuk I. Hereditary breast cancer: clinical, morphological and immunohistochemical features.

Dissertation covers the study of biological features of hereditary breast cancer. The matter of study were 184 patients with breast cancer (BC). The aim: to show differences of hereditary BC, family BC and sporadic BC. Methods: clinical-genealogic, immunohystochemical, statistical. Based on the clinical features it was established that hereditary ВС is characterised by the smaller size of tumours but more malignant course and the worst survival were evident. Tumours in patients with hereditary ВС were shown to be of high grade and characterized by absence or low level of the expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors and BRCA1 protein. The obtained results of complex examination may be introduced is to the practice of oncological clinics for delineating groups of patients with hereditary BC for their monitoring in dynamics. It would be advantageous for early BC detection.
