Semikolenova S. Statistical evaluation of current conditions and development of hotel sector

Hotel sector of Ukraine. Methodological issues and practical recommendations of complex statistical evaluation of current conditions and development of the hotel sector are theoretically outlined. Methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, statistical observation method, grouping method, tabular and graphic methods, dynamic series analysis methods. Outlined the necessarity of hotel sector' peculiarities functioning, - as one of the main part of services field - hotel sector; it defines the social-economical sense of the hotel sector category and statistical methodologies for the hotel sector statistics. There are separated such categories as "hotels" and "hotel enterprises" with the allotment of their types; given the typology of hotel enterprises by different characteristics. There are outlined a system of statistical indices that characterize the activities of hotel enterprises, there are suggested the statistical tools for selective observation and expert evaluation. There are provided and adopted statistical methods for complex statistical analysis of the current state and potential of the hotel sector development in Ukraine and in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. There are suggested a new method for the evaluation of hotel sector investment attractiveness. Hotel sector enterprises, educational process.
