Petryna N. Diagnostic and correction of cognitive disturbances in patients with psychotic and behavioral disorders caused alcohol intake

Dissertation is devoted to the actual issue of diagnostics and treatment of cognitive disturbances taking into account the changes of functioning of the pyruvatedegydrogenase system and Kory cycle in disorders of mental function and behaviour caused alcohol intake. It was establish the clinical features of cognitive disturbances depending on course of mental and behaviour disorders caused alcohol intake. It was conclude that with growth and deepening of cognitive changes there is insufficiency of the pyruvatedegydrogenase system and dysregulation of glicolise and gluconeogenesis was occur. It was order the use of indexes of the functional state of the pyruvatedegidrogenase system and Kori cycle as markers of therapy efficiency control. It was exposed positive influence of medicaments with nootropic activity and liver protective activity on cognitive sphere with normalization of indexes of carbohydrate metabolism in patients of the researchers groups, and this data created an additional resource in theprocess of higher mental recovery and allowed to optimize treatment of this contingent of patients.
