The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of the criteria and methods of rational variant definition of the montain works' mode of the deep iron-quarries. The basic idea of work consists in planning of the quarry's mountain works' mode by the change of the intensity of looping courses of the layers of rocks' thickness allocated on depth, placing them in the temporarily non-working position and depreservation, and also the realization of the process of the internal piling of the overburden rocks. The influence of the developed way of the temporarily non-working boards' depreservation on the parameters of the development system's elements and internal piling is established. The criterion of an estimation and choice of a rational variant of mountain works' mode which takes into consideration its interrelation with productivity of the quarry is developed. The technique of definition of the mountain works' rational mode at changeable parameters and the intensity of the sites' looping courses of the iron-ore quarry is developed.
