Vovk Z. Iron metabolism and differentiated correction of its disturbances in children of early and preschool age ill with iron deficient anemia.

The thesis is dedicated to problems of increasing the effectiveness of diagnostics and treatment of iron deficient anemia in children on the basis of retrospective expert analysis of 602 case records of hospital patients for ten years period as prospective analysis. There were 151 children with iron deficient anemia under our observation. Correlation between iron metabolism and endogen erythropoietin content in blood serum was investigated. Effectiveness of the use and indication medicines of human recombinant erythropoietin deficiency diagnostics and determination of IDA treatment effectiveness in children have been worked out. Effectiveness of medicinal stimulation of endogen erythropoietin level in blood serum of children with iron deficient anemia with the use recombinant erythropoietin Hemax and neuropeptide derivative Dalargin has been estimated. Useful model „Method of iron deficient anemia treatment in children” has been adopted using the thesis materials.
