Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the studies of one of the pages of Second World War history, and specially to humanitarian state of foreign war prisoners in Soviet camps in 1941-1945 years. The humanitarian aspects of foreign (especially german) war prisoners state in Soviet Union during and after the war analyzed. The state of the art and also the source base of this problem was analyzed. It the peculiarities of Soviet judicial system with respect to german war prisoners were showed. In the given work the peculiarities of Soviet political propaganda and ideological influence on war prisoners together with characteristic of political organizations of war prisoners were demonstrated. It the levels material provision social living conditions during foreign war prisoners maintenance were also studied. The declared and actual levels of medical support of prisoners taking into account elementary existence norms was showed. The peculiarities of foreign war prisoners labor-usage in Soviet Union were showed. The peculiarities of repatriation process and funeral of war prisoners and accordance of these to elementary human rights were investigated.
