Essay

The structural-phase state has been studied for High-speed steels of prepared by spray forming, in cast state and after plastic deformation and finish thermal hardening. It was also determined that spray formed steels investigated exhibit satisfactory deformation in temperature range for solid-phase transition (800±20 0C). The physicomechanical properties of steels in cast state, after plastic deformation and heat treatment have been determined. The end mills have been manufactured from low-tungsten High-speed steel and tested upon cutting carbon and alloyed structural steels. The tools exhibited high service characteristics.
