Essay

The object of research is physical processes in quasioptical waveguide metal and dielectric resonators by its excitation of the high-frequency electromagnetic fields; the aim is the development methods of formation transverse modes with uniform and doughnut-like intensity distribution in the waveguide quasioptical resonator; the methods are: method of the integral equation, the method of the spatial Fourier filtering, the matrix method of the calculation characteristics of the resonator modes; the new results are: for the first time is shown that in the dielectric waveguide resonator with the spherical convex reflector exists the region of the geometrical parameters of the resonator where is possible the formation of the output uniform field. The method of phase conjugation for the calculation of the aspherical mirrors forms for formation of the given field in the circular waveguide dielectric resonator is developed. For the first time the possibility of the self-imaging output radiation on the least distance in the hollow oversized rectangular metal waveguide is experimentally confirmed. Is shown that in the quasioptical resonator with oversized metal rectangular waveguide using lens and non-uniform reflector are possible the uniform field formation.
