Essay

Object: strengthening antiwear coatings which are sprayed on parts made of medium-carbon and low-alloy steels. The purpose of the investigation: to increase durability of critical parts by means of developing an efficient material and parameters for technology of spraying on coat using the plasma-powder method. Methods of investigation and apparatus: there have been used methods for determination of mechanical properties, structure, micro distribution f components of the coat and transitional zone as well as the mathematical model approach with creating special computer programs. When developing a new material and assessing effect of parameters of its treatment on properties of the obtained coat we have used the method of planning of the experiment. Theoretical and practical results: the powder composition has been developed on the basis of Fe alloyed with the system of elements Ni - Cr - Si - B - Mn - Мо - Cu, which provides durability increase of 1.5 times more in comparison with the parts made according to the existing technology. Degree of introduction: The material and technological process of its spraying have been developed and introduced into the production at 2 repairing specialized enterprises of Kharkiv and Belgorod regions.
