The present thesis deals with the research of the theoretical and practical aspects of the constitutional status of the Ukrainian executive bodies. The evolution of the executive power was analyzed. The numerous models of the executive power in the world were classified. The system of the executive bodies of Ukraine, the peculiarities of its constitutional regulation and its constitutional principles were under research. The constitutional status of the Ukrainian executive body and its structure were analyzed. The criteria of distinguishing of this status are suggested. The peculiarities of the constitutional status of the different Ukrainian executive bodies were under research.
