Essay

The subject of investigations is mechanical vibrations of large turbo-sets shaft line and bearings support. The aim of dissertation is development and application of new methods and improvement of new ones for mechanical vibration analysis for large turbo-sets vibration state diagnosing during their operation. Methods of investigations are numerical signal processing, theory of probability and mathematical statistics, prediction and optimization, time series analysis. A technique for development of stationary computerized automotive system for turbo-set analysis and diagnosing is proposed which permits to guarantee control, analysis and estimation of the turbo-set vibration state in real time at all its operation modes. A method of variable coefficients is developed for automotive estimation of interrelations of turbo-set operation factors and vibration parameters. A method of the shaft line torsional strains control by signals of rotor radial displacements during turbo-set operation is developed. A method of the turbo-set shaft line mathematical model identification for numerical estimation of the influence of defects and imperfections on vibration processes parameters is proposed. A technique and software developed in the dissertation are introduced as a part of the system of turbo-set vibration state analysis and diagnostics at 4 power-generating units (Т-250/300-240 of the Kyiv Thermoelectric Plant No. 5, two turbo-sets К-300-240 of the Zaporizhzhya Thermal Power Station and Т-250/300-240 of the Kharkiv Thermoelectric Plant No. 5) which permitted to increase their operation reliability and prevent emergency conditions development. Using results of diagnosing reasons of increased vibrations at separate turbo-sets were removed. Results of investigations can be used at Ukrainian Thermal Power Stations, Thermoelectric Plants and Atomic Power Plants.
