Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the studying of relationship between activation of viral infection's agents, degree of HIV replicative activity and indices of immunosuppression in persons with HIV-infection/AIDS. The significant prevalence of viral coinfections (herpesviruses infections and hepatitis C and B) among HIV-infected persons is determined. The active replication of HCV in the most of HIV/HCV-coinfected persons has been discovered. At the same time the average index of HCV viral load was for certain higher in the group of persons treated with HAART then the same index in the group persons not treated with HAART. The markers of active replication HBV were detected in small number of HIV/HBV-coinfected patients (0,80±0,79%). The activation of herpesviruses in HIV-infected persons is accompanied by higher indices of HIV viral load in comparison with corresponding indices in HIV-infected persons, who has not had serological markers of activation of herpesviruses. The direct correlation was determined between indices HIV-1 and HCV viral loads (r=0,8; m=0,15; р<0,05) and inverse correlation was between indices HCV viral load and CD4 levels (r= - 0,7; m=0,18; р<0,05) in HIV-infected persons with different stages of illness not treated with HAART. It indicates possibility of impact of HCV on HIV active replication
