Essay

The lexico-semantic field is singled out with the determination of its nucleus, basic corpus and periphery. The distributional-statistic analyses is employed for the investigation of syntagmatic relations of adjectives. Paradigmatic relations between the elements of the lexico-semantic field are investigated on the basis of semantic and syntagmatic peculiarities of words singled out from dictionaries and analyzed on the basis of combinability of every adjective at the level of semantic subclasses of nouns.
