Essay

In the present thesis we described the worldview typology, determined language categories for the "art" concept expression in the English worldview. We also elaborated semantic classification of the English art terms, defined their formal structure, investigated etymology of the art terms, singled out the degrees of their internationalization, determined peculiarities of art terms functioning in the author's discourse and described semantic shifts in the term semantics in the discourse structure.
