The dissertation deals with the problem imperious powers of the State Traffic Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The new system of the administrative constraint measures is characterized and proposed. The administrative preventing measures, administrative stopping and the way of bringing to administrative responsibility people guilty of breaking secure traffic is characterized in details. The proposals as to improving the actual law in this sphere are implemented on the base of the theoretic analysis of the law scientific literature and actual normative acts regulating the State Traffic Inspection activity.
