The thesis deals with the issues of the science of criminal law of Ukraine development that concerns a special part of criminal law within the period of 1991-2006. The notion of criminal law of Ukraine, its structure are elucidated. There is a profound research of its methodology, as well as a profound analysis of the position and importance of the researches on criminal law of Ukraine. This thesis presents a review of researches on the special part of Ukraine's criminal law for the certain period based on the external results of the scientific effort. Characteristic features of the special part of criminal law of Ukraine development within the period of 1991-2006 are defined and presented in this research.
