Hulkevych V. Criminal law protection of copyright and allied rights

The thesis researches the issues related to some prob¬lem aspects of criminal responsibility for infringement of copyright and allied rights (Art. 176 of Criminal Code of Ukraine) and developed the essence of elements and features of the crime. The author has proved that the current version of Art. 176 of Criminal Code of Ukraine only provides for criminal responsibility for infringement of economic rights of author, performer right, sound and video record producer or broadcasting organizer if they have been caused sizeable, great or extremely great mate¬rial damage; to set criminal responsibility for intentional actions for a round or neutralization of technological fa¬cilities of defence of copyright and contiguous rights, ille¬gal exception or change of some information, about a management these rights.
