Essay

Six species of Aporrectodea genus: A.caliginosa, A.trapezoides, A.rosea, A.longa, A.georgii, A.dubiosa are identified on the territory of Ukraine, besides two species (A.rosea and A.trapezoides) are polyclonal apomicts. A.caliginosa - amphimictic, with typically constant diploid set of chromosomes (2n = 36). Parthenogenetic A. trapezoides species is characterized with triploid set of chromosomes (3n = 54) and polyclonal structure. Five genetically investigated species (A.caliginosa, A.trapezoides, A.rosea, A.longa, A.georgii) according to the gene structure of the investigated loci are very similar to each other and have common origin.
