Syryatska T. Performer Interpretation in the Aspect of Psychology of Music Performer

The Thesis is devoted to study of psychological and analytical aspects of the personality of performer being a recognized model of artistic activities. Basing on dynamic concept of personality (Е. Fromm) and concept of “The Other” (M. Bakhtin), the author treats the theoretical foundations of classic characterology basing on materials of activities of outstanding musicians of the past. This enables to simulate the processes and mechanisms determining psychology of personality through definition of its basic concepts („character”, „temperament”, „artistic energy”). It was found that one or another type of accentuation (K. Leongard) directs and underlines the semantics of the performer interpretation. This has influence on treatment of the “author’s text” and transforms its contents though indirectly but consistently and on objective ground. The psychological structure of personality is an energetic system that also makes more expressive the semantic trend of the interpretation as an end product of the music performer activity. The law of structural identity between accented features of the artist’s personality and the type of interpretation determines the nature of interpretation and supplements the typology of performers established in interpretology.
