Petrov O. The improvement of the road holding factors of the moving vehicles taking into account the technical condition of the tyres

In the research work there a scientific-technical problem is solved, which is con-nected with forecasting and improvement of the road holding factors of the moving passenger cars by means of the rational tyre location with tread wear and regulation in them internal air pressure. For determination of the road holding factors of the moving passenger car the system of differential equations is formed, which describes the model of the moving passenger car taking into account fluctuations of controlling wheel module. The sys-tem allows to research the influence on road holding of the motion tread wear degree of the tyre, installed on a car, and air pressure in it. Experimentally it is determined the features of the lateral tyre skid, which were used in designed mathematical model. The road tests of the car were taken, that have confirmed the results of the theoretic researches. It is established that road holding parameters are closely connected with elastic tyre characteristic, which have tread wear. The rational tyre location with different tread wear degree on car axes and regu-lations of air pressure in tyres enlarge the critical speed of the moving car. The results of the studies on forecasting of road holding factors of the moving passenger cars are accepted to introduction "ДЕРЖАВТОТРАНСНДІПРОЕКТ", as well as merchandising examination research expert-criminalistical centre at MMIA of Ukraine in Donetsk area at carrying out of technical expert appraisals road-transport incidents.
