Gurtovenko O. Mental violence in criminal law of Ukraine

The dissertation contains a research of juridical nature of criminal violent mental influence, criminal mental harm, mental violence and classification of kinds of these notions. A problem of necessity and comprehensiveness toward usage of mental categories in criminal law was examined. The structure of criminal mental violent act was revealed. There were proposed definitions of criminal violent mental influence, criminal violent mental harm, criminal mental violence, mental compulsion and circumstance excluding the criminality features of deed in the case of mental compulsion usage. The ways of improvement of surmountable mental compulsion regulation in criminal legislation of Ukraine were identified.
