Dissertation is the comparative analysis of views on statebuilding of well-known Ukrainian political thinkers - D. Dontsov and V. Lypynskyi. Controversial positions as to the question of interdependence between national and social foundations for statebuilding are compared. Dissertation exposes theoretical and ideological roots of D. Dontsov and V.Lypynskyi political philosophies - "integral nationalism" and national conservatism. The evolution of both scientists views on the essence of political and state system of future independent Ukraine, on the role of people in history is studied. The difference in D.Dontsov and V.Lypynskyi positions as to еnу problem of international factors of Ukrainian statebuilding is disclosed. The influens of both authors on their contemporary political thought and the possibility of fragmentary usage of their ideas in modern state- and nationbuilding in Ukraine is analised.
