Essay

It was shown that increase of phosphorus background in growing environment of semidwarf varieties of winter wheat plants is characterized with the rapid rise of physiological processes intensity: photosynthesis, transpiration, respiration, as well as chlorophyll content as compared to the medium tall variety, thus indicating their higher optimal level of phosphorus nutrition. Optimal levels of phosphorus nutrition were much higher in the variants with semidwarf varieties than for medium tall .
