Kravchuk N. The state of competitiveness flax produce and the ways for its increase

Research object: process of ensuring flax produce competitiveness at Zhytomyr oblast enterprises. Research purpose: development and substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles as well as scientific and practical recommendations as to raising the level of competitiveness of flax produce. Research technignes: dialectical, abstract-and-logical, thet of analysis and synthesis, monographic, economic-and-statistical, method of comparison, average and relative magnitudes, correlation-and-regression analysis, series of dynamics discriminant analysis. Theoretical and practical results: theoretical results imply the enrichment of science with new theoretical and methodological approaches to the solution of the task of determinig flax produce competitiveness at agricultural enterprises under market economy conditions. The practical use of the results obtained is determined by the set of elaborated recommendations and suggestions regarding the solution of mutual and specific problems of raising flax produce competitiveness level. Scientific novelty: it is first suggested a methodological approach to the estimation of flax produce competitiveness which envisages the application of price rating coefficient broken flax quality grade and unit cost;. besides, on the above basis the forecast of broken flax competitiveness level at domestic agricultural enterprises for the near-term prospects has been made; the content of terms "flax produce competitiveness", the set of factors of flax produce competitiveness, the strategic lines of raising flax produce competitiveness have been specified; the suggestions relating to improving the determination of peculiarities of flax growing enterprise functioning under the conditions of international competion aggravation; the substantiation of developmentlines of flax industry subcomplex enterprises. Degree of introduction: the results of scientific studies are used by the executive bodies of Zhytomyr oblast in providing the effective performance of flax growing enterprises of Zhytomyr oblast in the progress of perspective development plans as well as in the educational process of the State Agroecological University of Ukraine, Zhytomyr in teaching special disciplines. Efficiency: the results of scientific studies give the possibility to substantiate the concept of raising flax produce competitiveness level under the condition of international competition agravation.
