Object of research – gastric dysrhythmia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and functional dyspepsia. Research methods – clinical, anamnestic, laboratorial (glucose-oxidase assay, photocolorimetric assay, immune-enzyme assay), mathematical, instrumental (ultrasound study of gastric emptying rate), statistical. The complex investigation of development of gastric dysrhythmia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and functional dyspepsia depending on serum levels of ghrelin, gastrin-17, glycemic control, sex, age, duration of disease is resulted. It was investigated dynamics of gastric motor function, serum gastrin-17 and ghrelin levels, glycemic control against treatment with a novel gastroprokinetic agent – mosapride. The expediency and efficacy of treatment with a novel gastroprokinetic agent mosapride for pathogenetic correction delay gastric emptying in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and functional dyspepsia is scientifically proved. Area of application – medicine.
