Object of the research: solid solutions on the basis of A4B6. Purpose of the research: study of influence of impurities with mixed valence on physical properties of lead, tin and germanium tellurides. Research techniques: X-ray, kinetic, magnetic. Results of researches: new materials are obtained; giant negative magnetoresistance is discovered in PbMnYbTe; Curie temperature is increased up to 160 K in GeMnEuTe. Usage: IR-optoelectronics (3-40 microns), spin electronics.
