Object of study - innovational processes at the enterprises of a railway transportation in conditions of reforming of branch. The purpose - a scientific substantiation and development of theoretical, methodological and methodical approaches to maintenance of efficiency of innovational activity of the enterprises of a railway transport. Methods - the system complex approach, methods of the statistical and financial and economic analysis, an abstract - logic method and methods of economic-mathematical modeling. Practical importance will consist in development of methodical approaches and concrete practical recommendations concerning complex maintenance of efficiency of innovational activity at the enterprises of a railway transport. Degree of the introduction - separate offers of dissertational research are used by Southern and South-West railways of Ukraine. Some positions are applied in educational process of the Ukrainian state academy of a railway transport. Scientific novelty of the received results- the concept «internal need of the enterprise for innovations» is entered into the scientific reference, internal needs of the enterprise for innovations are classified depending on influence of an environment; definition of economic concept "innovation", methodological bases of definition of internal needs for innovations of the enterprises of a railway transport, principles of functioning of marketing maintenance of innovational process, model of innovational process, a technique of planning of marketing charges on realization of the innovational project, the methodical approach to definition priority realizations of innovational projects at the enterprises of a railway transport is advanced; has found the further development classification of innovations.
