Essay

The object of research: "The Journal of the Ministry of the State Assets" (1841 - 1894). The aim of research: is the complex analysis of different publications related to the social-economic development of Southern Ukraine in the 1841 - 1894 on the pages of "The Journal of the Ministry of the State Assets". The subject of the research: is the complex of different publications on the pages of "The Journal of the Ministry of the State Assets" which describe the social-economic development of Southern Ukraine in the 1841 - 1894, his representativeness, authenticity and the informative potential. Research methods: abstraction, analysis, synthesis, analogy, mathematical statistics, heuristics, classification, interpretation, content analysis, genre-sort method. Theoretical results and newness: the author made a conclusion that the creation of the Ministry of the State Assets was one of the results of realization of state-conservative path exit from of official village's crisis. The main path of gathering ofstatistics and descriptive information by the Ministry of the State Assets was researched. The regularity of forming and theme directivity of publications to define. The reconstructing helped to correct and deepen the main questions related to the social-economic development of Southern Ukraine in the middle - the second half of the XIX century. The sphere of usage: is the creation of general researches related to the history of Ukraine, social-economic history of Southern Ukraine in the middle - the second half of the XIX century, source science, study of a particular region and the history of journalism.
