Object of research - scientific legacy of the Crimean Tatar Diaspora scholars, as well as Western European and North American historians of 1888-1991 on the history and ethnography of Crimea, published on the pages of Turkic periodicals on Crimean Tatar Diaspora. The study is a scientific reconstruction of historical and ethnographic study of Crimea in the Turkic publications of periodicals on Crimean Tatar Diaspora, the heritage disclosure and reflection in the publishing, study of the history on founding programs and periodicals of Diaspora in different countries; reconstitution bibliographic characteristics and prosopographic portraits of authors Con researchers of history and ethnography of the Crimean Tatar Diaspora. Methods of research - the principles of historical, scientific objectivity, systematic, narrative, portrayal, historical and genetic, historical and comparative, historical and typological, historical and systematic, synchronized and retrospective, the methods of bio-historiography and prosopography.
