Essay

The present thesis is devoted to consideration of quantum signatures of chaos in two-dimensional non-linear systems. In distinction from the traditional quantum chaos criteria, which are based on analysis of modifications of wave structure at the regularity-chaos transitions with energy growth, the new approach allows observe the signatures of quantum chaos in a separate wave function at fixed energy, and therefore gives possibility to study the quantum chaos in pure form. Key words: quantum chaos, two-dimensional systems, smooth potentials, numerical methods.
