Sytar I. Ontological Functions of Law

The analysis of the ontological functions of natural (absolute) law and their consolidation in positive law is carried out in the thesis. The thesis highlights the theoretical and methodological descriptions of ontological functions of law. The Function as a philosophic category is under research. The classification of functions of law, the substance of ontological functions of law are elucidated as well as their structure and types. There are revealed the philosophical grounds of methodological research of law functions. The value of methodological principles of law functions for the moulding of positive law is proved in the thesis. A profound analysis of the evolution of ontological functions of law from the Ancient Times up till the present day is carried out in the research. It is accentuated that the 21st century has initiated the second Renaissance period in natural-law functions of positive law
