Evaluating instruments for the strategic profitability potential of an enter-prise for the establishment of the market environment influence, manifestation of the internal mobilizing possibilities and formation of the dynamic model of profit-ability are formed. The elaborated mechanism of profitability management is ori-ented on its increase which envisages quantitative and meaningful evaluation of profitability quality, machine building enterprise positioning and the definition of a key index in coordinate matrix of profitability, argumentation of optimizational pa-rameters of its management and formation of strategic maintenance set.
