Essay

An object is the banks acyivity in reference to forming of equity capital and providing of the proper level of capitalization. A purpose is theoretical motivation of essence, features of forming and role of banks equity capital in providing of the adequate of capitalization of the bank system in Ukraine. Methods: system evaluation, analysis and synthensis, economic-statistical methods and receptions, economic-mathematical methods. Results: recommendatoins of the applied character in reference to activation of increase by the banks of capitalization volumes and increase of capital adequacy ratio are developed. Novelty: the approach to the market evaluation of the size of bank equity capital is motivated; the interpretation of essence of capital of bank, capitalization of bank is improved; the theoretical aspects of integral estimation of sufficient of bank equity capital are determined; estimation of internal bank ability in reference to the increase of level of capitalization is improved; the advantages of consolidation of bank capital by merger and takerover of banks are motivated. It is inculcated in research works, in practical banks activity and in an educational process. A sphere is the bank system.
