Essay

The research work is devoted to study of the productivity and biological piculiarities of initial breed cattle, intermediate genetic types and the Sumy innerstrains type of Ukrainian black-and-white milk breed. According to the first lactation the genetic potential for milk yield of the Sumy type cows is higher than in cows of initial lebedynsky type for 672,5 kg (17 percent; pO.001). As to the quantity of milk fat the cows of lebedynsky type let the cows of the new type for 20,2 kg (p<0,05). The trustworthy influence of the living mass of heifers for the milk productivity in different age period is not determined except the cross-breed of the first generation. First-borned cows of lebedinsky type had the lowest living mass among the all the cows. It is establiched that creating of the Sumy didn't reduce reproduce qualities of cows. The main morphological features and functional piculiarities of cows udder is being improved with every generation.
