Bank activity with of long-term crediting of population. Studying and generalization of theoretical and methodological bases of system of long-term crediting of population in Ukraine and development of practical recommendations concerning improvement of elements of this system with purpose of guarantee of its effective functioning in market conditions. Methods: comparison, the analysis and synthesis, an induction and deduction, statistical, grouping, tabular, graphic. The essence and specificity of system of long-term crediting of the population is disclosed, objects of crediting and their kinds are defined, principles of crediting which in market conditions are filled with the new contents are analyzed. The definitely sources by credit resources securing of bank institutions, the main development directions of long-term crediting of population are fixed and ways of improvement of mechanisms of crediting of the population are offered.
